Thespian
Starting Skills: Acting, and roll on a background table.
(Can't get by only being an actor in this economy)
Starting Items: As rolled background, plus a grotesque mask and an absurd outfit.
Each template of Thespian is an A template, which means that they can be taken in any order. Thespians are divided into naturals who stumbled upon the art intuitively and the initiates of one of several mystery cults. In either case they reek of Paint.
Each template also has the important stipulation that desired emotion needs to be inspired in both the other players at the table (GM included) and characters within the fiction. When a certain use of an ability gets used often enough that it becomes boring, then it gets 'burned out' and the Thespian can't do that anymore.
A: Comedy
You may break the laws of durability as long as it would be funny. Stretching like a rubble band, becoming immovable as a statue, stepping out of an inferno covered in soot. You might be called a Clown.
A: Horror
You may break the laws of distance as long as it would be scary. Appear in places with no clear explanation, make a hallway stretch impossibly long, leave someone exposed in a crowd. You might be called a Nightmare.
A: Erotica
You may break the laws of seperation, as long as it would be sensual. Share memories by pressing brows together, take another's wounds upon yourself by kissing them away, meld bodies into one being. You might be called a Pervert.
A: Tragedy
You may break the laws of inevitability, as long as it's cost is great sorrow. Stop a war by becoming hated by all, place a castle in the sky and suffer the wrath of the gods, save a loved one by sacrificing your life. You might be called a Hero.
This is great: narrative changes itself in a frame of a GloG class.
